ITF Women in Rail Bulletin

The ITF Women in Rail bulletin includes information on union activities and initiatives that have improved opportunities for women's employment in the railway sector and representation in the union, as well as union campaigns and outcomes dealing with issues for women railway workers.

The bulletin is available in English, French and Spanish.

Issue No. 2 (2010)

In this second edition, we learn about how women representatives of Norsk Lokomotivmannsforbund have surveyed female locomotive drivers to test equality progress and also interview Kalthoum Barkallah, Assistant General Secretary of the Fédération Nationale des Chemins de Fer Tunisien.

Issue No. 1 (2009)

In this first edition, we learn about how the Government of India has addressed issues for women railway workers and also interview Jane Barrett, ITF Railway Section Women's Representative.
